Fibreglass Welding Blanket PU Coated 550°C 1m x 25m

A durable low weight polyurethane fibreglass material providing temperature resistant to 550°C. Ideal for garages, workshops and where welding is being carried out near items requiring shielding from heat, spatter or sparks. The addition of a PU coating on the blanket provides a resistance to greases and liquids.

The material is supplied on a 25 metre roll and can be cut to size. This fire retardant material can be used to cover and protect an area near the welding or grinding job to prevent damage or a fire break out. Although not intended as its primary purpose, these blankets can also be used to cover a spark burning to prevent a fire.
